Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. Carpentry/carpenter. Work site environment: At heights. Work setting: Construction. Various locations. Renovation. Residential. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Work with minimal supervision. Personal suitability: Accurate. Excellent oral communication. Reliability. Team player. Values and ethics.
